UofT Interprofessional Education University of Toronto

The University of Toronto Office of IPE

The University of Toronto provides interprofessional education opportunities to pre-licensure students and practice-based health professionals at our affiliated hospitals.

Interprofessional education (IPE) is defined as:
Occasions when two or more professions learn with, from and about each other to improve collaboration and the quality of care. (CAIPE: 1997 rev. 2001).

The UT Office of IPE helps educators in these settings plan IPE initiatives and oversees a major research project (SCRIPT) about clinical-based IPE.
