The IPE Curriculum Portfolio welcomes you to the Interprofessional Education (IPE) Curriculum at the University of Toronto (U of T). The years at U of T will be spent venturing through new and different experiences both inside and outside the classroom. Take a moment to reflect on who you are and who you are trying to become. The IPE Curriculum offers more than just interprofessional activities; it’s a community diverse in interests, backgrounds and values that engages students in interprofessional opportunities and experiences.

The IPE Student Handbook will be available to all students enrolled in a healthcare professional program through the IPE website. The IPE Student Handbook aims to support students as they navigate through the IPE curriculum. It provides a detailed description, learning objectives and goals of each core activity. It explains the different competencies required for the elective learning activities that are offered. It summarizes the scopes of practice for each profession, which allows students to gain a better understanding of the role of each healthcare professional. The IPE Student Handbook provides Blackboard Portal Information, and a step-by-step guide to registering for activities and tracking attendance. It also includes a list of IPE resources that will allow the student to effectively navigate their journey in interprofessional education.
