CIPE Biennial Report - 2015 - 2017
With a crispness in the fall air and the December holidays ahead, I’m reminded that this is the season for gratitude. In our work at the Centre for Interprofessional Education (CIPE), we often talk about making the implicit explicit. As such, I would like to be explicit about and grateful for the exceptional people and collaborations that are behind the milestones and accomplishments in this Report.
CIPE Inaugural Report - 2009 - 2011
The University of Toronto (UT), building on its own long history of interprofessional education (IPE), now has over 1200 students each year in 11 health science professions—dentistry, medical radiation sciences, medicine, nursing, occupational science and occupational therapy, pharmacy, physical education and health, physical therapy, physician assistant, social work and speech–language pathology—participating in the IPE curriculum. Eight of these 11 individual programs have made the IPE curriculum a requisite for their students.

This multimedia toolkit was created for the purpose of enhancing collaboration and improving the lines of communication among all health care providers. Such professionals include, but are not limited to: doctors, nurses, therapists, pharmacists, social workers, dietitians, and administrators.
