Youth Outreach
CACHE is pleased to partner with others across the University Health Network, the Toronto Academic Health Sciences Network, and University of Toronto to offer a website and recurrent event entitled: Unique Career Paths: Joining Interprofessional and Interdisciplinary Health Care/Science Teams.
This youth engagement initiative aims to reach across diverse communities, supporting career and education planning, and instilling a value for teamwork in healthcare early on.
The initiative is targeted towards high school, college, and undergraduate students who want to explore a career in health care or health science. It highlights unique teams of people. We aim to show how each team works together, and profile each team member including how they found their way into their unique career at present and where they see themselves going in the future. We aim to showcase career paths that students may not have known about previously.
