The Centre for Advancing Collaborative Healthcare and Education (CACHE) is a key partner on a $45 million federal grant to transform interprofessional primary care training and education across Canada. CACHE will receive more than $1 million of the total grant funds to support “Team Primary Care: Training for Transformation,” an initiative of the Foundation for Advancing Family Medicine bringing together an extensive network of partners to improve training for practitioners to deliver more comprehensive, team-based primary care. CACHE will adapt and implement effective toolkits with primary care teams, offer customized professional development programs and coaching, and ensure collaborative leadership is embedded into Team Primary Care.
